The name Monsanto strikes fear into food-conscious people in many parts of the United States. They are well-known for their endless genetic tampering with food industries (soy and corn). But now the corporate giant set’s its eyes on another field: Cannabis.
Evidence is getting bigger that Monsanto may want a hold on our doobies although it has claimed otherwise in many occasions. Bayer bought out Monsanto for $66 billion last September, marking a union that could be disastrous for anyone whose daily activities consist of getting high as a kite.
Unhappily, Monsanto and Bayer both may have connections to Nazis. With a vigorous history of chemical weapons development, Bayer, formerly IG Farben, developer of chemical weapons that were used on Jews during the Nazi era, it seems like these two companies are up to no good.
After the Nuremberg Trials, IG Farben had a number of best executives sent to prison for crimes made against humanity. This is totally not a cool thing to expect while getting a buzz on. Shortly when they were imprisoned, many of them started filling positions at the IG Farben off-shoots – Including Bayer. The Human Research Protection Alliance has this to say:
“IG (Interessengemeinschaft) positions for “Association of Common Interests”: The IG Farben cartel included BASF, Hoechst, Bayer and other German pharmaceutical and chemical companies. As documents show, IG Farben was very well involved with the human experiment slaughters committed by Mengele at Auschwitz. A German watchdog organization, the GBG Network, keeps copious documents and tracks Bayer Pharmaceutical Activities.”
Very soon, your weed may be super-powered and also super-poisonous.
See, Miracle-Gro and Monsanto have a business partnership. Hawthorne, a front for Miracle-Gro, already bought three of the major canna-heads in the business: Gavita, Botanicare and General Hydroponics. Numerous other companies also received offers of buy-outs, but they refused them.
Hydroponics Lighting Representative stated;
“They want to bypass hydroponics retail stores… We say we won’t get in bed with them, and they say ‘Well, we might just buy your whole company just like we did with Gavita and do whatever we want to do.”
The worst thing is that Bayer and Monsanto are talking about manufacturing GMO marijuana.
In a little while, our natural medicine could turn Frankenstein on the climber. Michael Straumietis of Advanced Nutrients advises against this:
“Bayer and Monsanto share information about genetically modifying crops. Bayer allies with GW Pharmaceuticals, which will grow its own branded marijuana genetics. Logical thing is that Bayer and Monsanto want to create GMO marijuana.”
It is possible that Bayer and Monsanto may create a monopoly on marijuana seeds, just like they did with corn and soy. They have huge amount of money at their disposal, and laws just don’t fairly work the same way for them.
We may almost certainly boycott GMO products, but doesn’t that seem like a waste of time. Nope, what the weed industry needs is: Devoted enthusiasts who will grow their own. This is the harmless way to get out of the corporate supply chain; and with confidence the finest way to ensure a proper relationship with a plant that does well for so many people.
